Transition and Refresher Ground and Flight Training is offered in most Bell Helicopter models.
Refresher Ground School includes 8 hours of classroom instruction consisting of a brief overview of the major aircraft systems, performance, weight and balance and limitations. Refresher flight training includes touchdown auto's in single engine models.
Transition Ground School consists of 20 hours of classroom instruction and 3-5 hours of flight training. It includes a more in-depth coverage of all the above subjects. Whether conducting transition training from one model to another, or refresher training in the same model, safety is the primary goal.
Flight Training for both the refresher and transition courses covers normal and emergency procedures including autorotations. If the aircraft is approved per the flight manual for autorotation touchdown, and the customer approves, autorotation will be completed to the ground.
